Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hello,
Thanks for choosing health care magic for posting your query.
I have gone through your question in detail.
your friend is addicted to tobacco and that may lead to cancer in future. He needs to stop taking it. Some people are able to stop by themselves as it doesn't cause any side-effects. However if he is not able to leave it then he should meet a psychiatrist. He will benefit from motivational therapy and then there are certain medications like Varenicline and Tobacco gums and patches which will help in his recovery.
Hope I am able to answer your concerns.
If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.

hello,

Tobacco causes cancer. Taking them in amounts smaller or larger doesn't matter.

To leave the habit, tobacco gums are readily available at stores as NICOGUM OR NICORX OR NICOTEX. Start with initial dose of 4 mg ...3 times per day and then could reduce the dose on own depending on the effect. Generally patients on their own reduce the doses as their body start to dislike it.

The above only helps the persons who wants to stop the habit of tobacco by providing taste and relieving the person against the withdrawal symptoms.

Hoping to see your friend in better health.

Tobacco consumption has many hazardous effects on the general and oral health of the individual.
Some people can quit the habit by themselves, if you are having problem you can consult a Psychiatrist a proper motivation is required.
Take antispetic mouthwash rinses.
Get the complete mouth scaling and polishing done.
Maintain a good oral hygiene.

Hope this helps out,

yes its difficult to stop the habbit but you can do following:-
1.try to gradually decrease the number of times you are chewing for instance reduce one per week
2.try some sugar free chewing gums for a few times
3.driks lots of water and fruit juices ,that would clean your system of the toxins
