Advise On The Liver Function Test With Platelet Count 75000

I am a 46 year old male and I just recovered from dengue fever. My platelet count has risen to 342000 from 75000, but my liver function test is showing S.G.P.T 70 U/L, GLOBULIN2.2 GM/DL AND GAMMA GLUTAMYL TRANSFERASE 64U/L. Please tell me if there is any abnormality and what could be possible reason for it.

Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your clinical history and query, my opinion is as follows:
1. Platelet count has improved, indicating recovery period
2. As it was a period of excessive physical injury, protein will take time to improve.
3. The enzymes will recover in due course and if repeated after 15 days, will shows much lower titre.

Hope it helps.

Any further queries, happy to help again.
