Advised Corion Since The Detection Of Pregnancy, HCG, NT Scan Show High Risk Of Down's Syndrome. Will It Help ?
I have been advised Corion 5000 iu since the detection of my pregnancy. Now I'm on my 14th week and yet continuing. Have taken 9 doses and another one left. I've undergone an NT scan and PAPPA and beta HCG tests which show high risk of Down's Syndrome, Edward's Syndrome and Patau's syndrome. Could injecting Corion be one of the reasons of these defects?
No, human chorionic gonadotrophin can not cause these syndrome.you should go for triple test at 15 -17 weeks.if it suggest a high risk than go for chromosomal analysis of your fetus by chordoscentasis or amnioscentasis. which will decide whether to continue or terminate pregnancy.thank you.
