Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
The characteristic features of PCOD (Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome or Disorder) are as ,
Weight gain , acne, hirsutism,
Glucose intolerance,
androgen excess,
Irregular bleeding, dysfunctional uterine bleeding, amenorrhea,
Alteration LH/FSH ratio,
Change in ovarian stroma.
In your case irregular bleeding is due to PCOS.
Weight reduction will not help.
Consult a Gynaecologist ( other one) and get his opinion and as well treatment of PCOS.
Get in ultrasound as well blood ( hormonal ) tests.
Good luck.
