Spine Surgeon 's  Response
Polio effects muscles. there is secondary decrease in the length of the bone. Treatment depends upon several factors like the the group of muscles that are wear and strong, any contractures, the amount of shortening.

For only slight difference, shoe modifications help.

Lengthening is possible. It is done using Ilizarov technique. The duration of treatment depends on the amount of the length that has to be gained.

It is done by Orthopaedic surgeons having interest and training in the technique. It is performed by me in our hospital.

You can tell me your location, so that I can suggest you the best near your place.

Bye
