After I Eat Something I Feel Food Getting Stuck In Back Of My Throat. What Should I Do ?
hello im 6 ft 238 lbs Male I have an issue when eating certain foods. I feel the food get stuck before it gets to my stomach. Then I get mucus buildup around the food and I get gassy and cant stop burping until I force my self to vomit the food back out. if I dont vomit the food, the gas pressure makes my head feel bloated.. can u give me some advice thank you :)
Your symptoms suggestive of either gastric reflux or it may be hiatus hernia, take only liquid diet and meet the doctor for endoscopy to rule out the above and start the treatment.
Hello, welcome to HCM. You seem to be facing difficulty in swallowing called dysphagia. If you have a hard time swallowing once or twice, you probably do not have a medical problem. But if you have trouble swallowing on a regular basis, you may have a more serious problem that needs treatment. There are many disorders which can lead to this condition including esophagitis, diverticula, esophageal webs or tumors, etc. You must visit a gastroenterologist for further review. You may need a upper GI endoscopy. Wish you good health.
