General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The decision of removing PIC line and switching to oral therapy depends upon the clearance of existing infection with total immune response satisfactory to control the future issues.

It is the sole decision of the treating physician and I do not predict much help from the online platform in this regard.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Purva Patel,
