After The Ultrasound Of The Thyroid Having Found Solid & Complex Nodule On Left & Right Side
Is this something that needs attention right away? TECHNIQUE: Ultrasound of the thyroid gland with color-flow Doppler. FINDINGS: The right gland measures 5.5 cm x 2.7 cm x 1.9 cm. The left gland measures 3.2 cm x 1.4 cm x 1.2 cm. The isthmus measures 4 mm. In the right gland there is a heterogeneous solid nodule in the mid and lower pole measuring 4.0 cm x 2.9 cm x 2.2 cm with increased vascular flow. Another complex heterogeneous nodule is present in the upper pole measuring 1.9 cm x 1.6 cm x 1.3 cm. Left thyroid nodule not identified. 3 mm hypoechoic nodule present in the right isthmus IMPRESSION: Large solid nodule mid and lower pole left gland measuring 4.0 cm x 2.9 cm x 2.0 cm and another complex nodule upper pole of the right gland measuring 1.9 cm x 1.6 cm x 1.3 cm. These could be further evaluated with needle biopsy.

Ultrasound shows that you have 2 nodules in right lobe and another small nodule in isthmus. Overall measurements of right lobe is increased too.
We need to get more details of the thyroid ultrasound regarding the character and vascularity of the nodules. Have you had a thyroid blood report done? Please attach the thyroid hormone tests and ultrasound reports and images to
