Aged Mother Has Some Liquid Discharge From Her Breasts On Pressing. Ultrasound, Mammography Normal. Recommendations?

Hi, my mother is 54 yrs old and is experiencing some liquid discharge from one of her breasts. Happens mostly on pressing. She has already consulted doctors and specialists and undergone ultrasound, mammography and few other blood tests which have all been normal. The ointment suggested b the dr has not helped it to reduce though. Could you lease suggest if this can be cured by any medicine or should we ignore it as suggested by other doctors for an year and undergo the tests again?

hi.. discharge from the breast after menaupause is pathological... prolactinomas will cause milk like secretion.. see your endocrinologist to rule out this condition since the mammography is normal and breast carcinoma is ruled out... all the very best..
