Agoraphobic, Unable To Enter Open Spaces, Problems With Driving. What Should Help?
hi my name is sean,my problem is smiler to agoraphobic but i think much worse.i can go out no problem.but i can not go through open spaces in the car or walking.it is so bad i drive any where i go in darkness.my counceler. has not herd of this, and do not understand.Because i have no fear to go outside.also i do drive to local towns in the daylight, because there are trees and high hedges along the way.but i can not drive to capital towns along way from me only in the dark. The last time i strayed into an open space about a year and a half ago it was hell for me.same kind of fear i think you may have if you were about to be executed or something the same as that.I was shaking and feeling unwell for the rest of that day.

General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Do you get any panic attacts while continous exposure. Agarophobia is different for different persons. and the treatment also differs. A psycotherapy is necessary in your case i think. with that medications like anxiolytics shud be added. It can be cured with regular follow up with apsychitrist thanks
