Allergic Cough With White Sputum, Stuffy Nose. On Inhaler Therapy. Is It Life Long ?

my child is 9 year old he is having allergic cough and sometimes white colour sputum comes out and some sound is there when he coughs , running and stuffy nose espacially ever morning and with every change of season. HISTORY- when my child was 4 year old he developed cough which starts only in night. full day he remains allright. doctors put him to inhaler therapy and after a course is over tapered the dose but again symptoms started again inhaler . So till the age of 8 he was of and on inhaler (Asthalin course). Then doctors suggested that the humid weather of GUWAHATi is not suitable for him, shift him to some dry areas. WE shifted him to Lucknow. Initially he was totally fine there without any inhalers. But these days there are rains so again symptoms started. What to do I am really worried is this is life long

Get a PFT or lung function test done for your child as he may be suffering from asthma. Then see a good pediatrician or a chest physician for the treatment. If it is asthma it can be controlled. Life long or not cant be said at this stage without any reports
