Am I Having TB?
Hi. I'm 25.i had an ectopic pregnancy. My rt tube is removed thru laproscopy on 8/04/2014. Now my dr said I hav TB and prescribed tablets and said its a 6 mnths course. I hav consulted 2 more other doctors of whom 1 said my reports don't show any TB and advised to hav endometrial biopsy and HSG and the othr 1 said to hav TB- PCR.And she said that whatever be the result I hav to take anti tuberculosis treatment. Now plz advise me what to do and which dr to go for . I'm really worried

I really appreciate your concern if the biopsy report dos not show any evidence of tuberculosis and the clinical condition does not correlate with the report then no need to take the anti TB drug, the clinical sign and symptoms are very important than the report it self, it is not bad to wait for few days if you start reducing the weight then this is to be investigated you can go for TB related all the tests, hope this information helps you, have nice day.
