Am I Having Nasopharynx Cancer According To This Report?

Hi,

My ENT doctor did the endoscopy because I am having chronic sinusitis and he saw something abnormal in my neck. He asked for a CT scan by writing: chronic sinusitis, right cervical adenopathy, asymetry sinus plus nasopharynx. I read a lot on the internet and I am close to see that I am having a nasopharynx cancer

These findings can be due to infection as well but high index of suspicion should be kept for malignancy (cancer).
If any growth or swelling is visible on endoscopy in nasopharynx, it should be biopsied. Otherwise, a fine needle aspiration for cytology (FNAC) of cervical lymphadenopathy (neck node) should be done to get to a diagnosis.
Please discuss it with your doctor.
