Am I Having Side Effects Due To The Procedures Taken?

today I a procedure which consists of a single subcutaneous injection of Kenalog and lidocaine in the occipital (back of the head) with a 25 gauge 5/5 inch needle. I have had nothing but severe heartburn since. Is this a side effect and what can I take

Hello,

Your symptoms could be related to acid reflux or gastritis. I don't think that it is related to the injection. Anyway, I would recommend taking an anti-acid or PPI (omeprazole, pantoprazole, etcetera).
