Am I Suffering From Liver Dysfunction?

I have a moderate form of pruigo nodularis on my legs that is slowly healing but recently the skin under my fingernails has started turning a caramel color. I have read both may be a sign of liver dysfunction....is this likely? I am extremely healthy and fit...am never sick, do not take any drugs, do not drink alcohol and I do not even have a regular doctor. My dermatologist is all I have. I eat a Paleo type diet, get lots of exercise. I am 45 yrs. old and female.

Hello and thanks you for your query. I am Dr. Rommstein and I will try to help you as much as I can with my answer.
if you don't have jaundice and have normal liver markers then it is not likely to be related to liver. Prurigo is just one of symptoms of jaundice but it may be sign of various dermatologic disorders so you should look at this point.

I hope I have answered you query. If you have any further questions you can contact us.
Kindly regards. Wish you a good health.
