Am I At Risk For Lung Cancer With Chronic Bronchitis And The Pain In The Rib Cage?
A recent x-ray showed a 8x7 mm density nodular in upper anterior left lung lobe. May possibly be in the rib. I ve been having SOB and chest pain prior to x-ray. I now have pain in the left rib cage that radiates to the left rear of back. I am a former smoker, 62 years old. Been smoke free for almost 18 years but have chronic bronchitis, chronic sinusitis, and chronic asthma. Am I at risk for lung cancer?
Nothing to hide...Yes it may be...BUT ALSO IT MAY BE A BENIGN LESION...so don't stress from now. Do a CT guided FNAC/biopsy( as the case needed based on the size and location of the mass) of your lung mass...It will conclude what type of lesion is it...In the mean time for pain u can take tramadol(50) tablets.
