Am Pregnant. My Clitoris Swells. Advised That It Is An Infection. On Antibiotics. Have Discharge Also. Suggestions?
Morning sir am 3o weeks pregnant,my clitoris normally swell after I skip sex for weeks or more than five days or so,(I mean having sex after skipping it for days or weeks)the first time I told my mid wife she said is an infection and gave me injection and anti biotics and nw its back again this is the third time.am also having discharge pls sir help me am worried
Well the swollen clitoris could be an infection or simply due to overstimulation of the clitoris causing a type of swelling. During pregnancy, you might develop swelling of some of your body parts. Personally I have experienced only swelling of the vulva but hardly clitoris. I do not feel that you are experiencing any serious problem that requires you being worried. How ever if it is painful or sore and maybe red, then it is probably an infection which might require a course of antibiotics and antiinflammatory to take of it. If no signs of inflammation, then you may just leave the swelling as it appears, it would likely resolve on its own.
