Angioplasty, Endeavour DES 3.5 X 1.5 Mm, Pain In Heart And Left Arm, Survival Rates
How long do the patients undergone angioplasty live at an average? I am 35 years old and undergone angioplasty at an age of 33 in the year 2010. stented with Endeavour DES 3.5 X 1.5 mm. But even after angioplasty i do feel pain in heart and radiating to left arm . Few days back carried out an aniography and found the stent OK. Can u please tell me what the reason for pain and how long patient like us live?
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The pain you are having in your left arm might be related to a muscle pain since the cardiac causes have been ruled out. The life expectancy of a patient after angioplasty is difficult to predict as it depends on many other risk factors like associated co morbidities like hypertension, diabetes, atherosclerosis, extent of progression, etc.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
