Ants Coming Near Urine After 10-15 Mins Of Urination Of A 1.6 Year Child. Reason?

hai doctor good afternoon....sir im electrical engineer leaving in bellary(Karnataka) India...we have a daughter of age 1 year n 6 month & her name is Gaandharvi...sir the problem is since i observed n my wife observing since last 3 days when ever my daughter do urine after some time approximate after 10 to 15 mins large ants( black colour ants) coming near to the urine...what might be the reason sir?????

Ants around the urine may be due to its chemical composition.

It is not a sign of abnormality or disease in the child.

Nothing to worry.

If you are concerned about it, go for complete urine examination which will rule out the abnormality and reassure you.

Hi,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.

You need not worry about those ants.

It is a normal phenomenon and these ants get attracted to various by products in the urine.

You should consult your doctor if there is increased frequency of urination, burning urination (crying while passing urine) etc. Ignore ants coming near urine if there are no such problems.
