Anxiety Attacks, Upset Stomach, Racing Heart. What Maybe The Reason?
hi im 14 years old and I think that I possibly have anxiety attacks it started after I had got sick and had an upset stomach then when I had got over it and tried to go to school the next day my stomach started hurting and it felt like I had diehrrah but then I had started drinking pepto bisma almost every night before I go to bed so then when I would wake up I will be cured. but then when I would get in school my heart will start racing and then my stomach starts hurting bad and it just felt like my heart would just drop (like im on a roller coaster or something) but then I just thought that I will get over it but I never did my family just thought I just didn't want to go to school because I stop going to school for long periods of time and when I did go I would get sent home and because of it and even came to a point were the nurse didn't want to send me home any more. so then I had stop going to school but it was the end of the year so I was ok and I didn't want to go anywhere like the mall or to the fairs or even to the beach.so I had just spent my whole summer doing nothing then the new school year is here and I started school yesterday (high school) and through the whole day I just kept having them and having them and I couldn't help it and so I didn't even eat lunch because that's how bad it was so on the second day I didn't even go and my friends think I just don't want to go but I do because I love school and these attacks or keeping me from school.
This may refer to possibility of "irritable bowel syndrome" which is usually associated such symptoms. It is associated with chronic stress, anxiety, sleep issues, stomach / bowel issues etc
Discussing the option of considering " upper G.I.Endoscopy" with the gastroenterologist, taking benzodiazepines like clonazepam / etizolam for short period, discussing details about your school should help you, in my opinion
