Anxiety, Headaches, Upset Stomach, Nausea. Weaning Off Cymbalta. How Can I Deal With It?
I didn't realize how difficult it would be to get off cymbalta. Am taking 30 mg and started taking every other day to wean off and now realize after reading this site it is a bad way to do it. I have suffered from anxiety on and off all my life but got extremely bad going through perimenopause. Also had bad situation with my mother but now that she is gone and I am nearly 60, I feel so much calmer. I would really like to come off but am afraid my anxiety will come back and don't want to ever be on cymbalta again. I feel that I would be more able to cope with anxiety now that in the past. For the past 2 days I have headache, upset stomach and nausea. I would appreciate some suggestions on how to do this.

I have gone through your question in detail and I can understand what you are going through.
Cymbalta has difficulty to come off it, but all the effects are temporary and will settle with time. Take good rest and drink plenty of water. If required lorazepam can also help. Also next time go ahead with sessions of cognitive behavioural therapy instead of medicines for anxiety.
Hope I am able to answer your concerns.
If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.
