i have anxiety, paranoia and ocd..... it's now leading to depression. I'm not old enough to drive my self to my own doctor at the moment for all of my problems but i am getting a ride from the family sometime in the next month or two. Do you have any suggestions for me to help with my problems? i really do need help honestly.
You are having anxiety, OCD, paranoia. OCD is main reason behind these symptoms. OCD is causing symptoms of intense anxiety and depression. I can understand your problem that you are not able to visit a Psychiatrist but there is need for medicines. Medicines like SSRIs as Fluoxetine, Paroxetine, Fluvoxaone etc are used in OCD with good results and are safe drugs. Non-medicinal treatment like Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Relaxation Exercises, Breathing Exercises are also very useful.
The problems that you have described require that you consult a psychiatrist so that a detailed assessment can be made for a proper diagnosis and treatment. Medications will give you good relief, but you will need to see a doctor for that. Till you are able to visit a doctor, try maintaining a diary where you regularly note down all the thoughts and behavior that you consider abnormal. This will help you discuss your problems in detail with the doctor and will also help you identify where the problem lies so that you can make an effort to change it.
