Any Complications In Future After Undergoing Arotic Valve Replacement?
Sir My valve replaced 4 years back and im working in MNC company and my company is asking all employees for regular health check up dince last four years our company has not initiated this is ther any problem is my company will ask me leave the job or they ask me to continue.till today after surgery i have not faced any problem and i am working fine in the company as Assistant manager (sales) kindly let meknow what will happen as a doctor and i am only the bread earner in the family (Arotic Valve Replacement Done)

dear,in Aortic valve replacement thr r two types of valves tht can be used biological or mechanical valve,in younger mechanical valve is preferred becoz it need not require replacement after 15 years as in biological valve,life span of mechanical valve is ideally taken as more than 100 years,most common used in mechanical valve is ST JUDE bileaflet most probably u r having this only,u need not worry ,mechanical valve remain for life long,u just need to take warfarin or acitrom life long maintaing INR between 2 and 3,mechanical valve should not be an issue during health check up.u need not worry
