Any Insights Into Cold Leading To Persistent Headache,running Nose And Sinus Congestion?

I've been getting non stop headaches. It started with a cold 9 days ago. First I lost my voice. I used zinc lozenges. vitamin C and Echinacea to try to fight it. It continues on. My voice is fine now, but my nose wont stop running, even with anti-histamines. I've also had a good amount of sinus congestion. Taking decongestants and Fluticasone nasal spray 2X daily. I thought I had a fever, but digital thermometer gave me three readings within a few minutes, 96.2. 97, and then 96.7. My body temp is normally 98.2. Any insights into this?

Hello,
The digital thermometer batteries must be weak.
Anyways you should continue with nasal sprays and the antihistaminic medication . It will decrease the amount of mucus production and so the mucus will not drip down the throat and so will not cause problem in throat.
YOu should also use normal saline nasal sprays in addition.
The normal saline sprays will wash the nose from inside and the mucus will get washed away.
