Any Safer Drugs To Take For Hypertension While On Breast Feeding?
I have a patient who is 6 weeks post partum and is on labetalol 400 mg TID and Nifedipine ER 60 mg QD. She is breast feeding. Her BP is not exceptionally high, 130/88 in the left arm. Right arm is good at 120/78. She was just released to my care from her OB. Are there any safer drugs to take for HTN while breast feeding or should I stick with these two?
