Any Suggestion For 82 Years Old Suffering From Bladder Infection?
My wife (age82) has a bag for urinating. She is now in hospital & now seems to have a bladder infection which is affecting her mind. She is now paranoid about everything, The doctors are treating her with antibiotics and say she has too much calcium in her system. Bill

Actually with more interventions we are prone for more infection,she is catherized for urination,as you said she has bag for urination,so naturally she is more prone for bladder infection,and her age is 82 she is again more prone for infections,as u said antibiotic is started for her and it will help,take care of her hygiene,and keep surrounding clean it will help avoiding infections.
