Any Suggestion For Bruise On Cheekbone And Small Dent When Smiling?

Hello. I fell on the pavement 4 months ago, suffering a minor concussion, and bruising my cheekbone. I have since healed, but the soft tissue over my cheekbone still aches like I have a bruise, particularly when I sleep on that side of my head at night. Hello,

Your concern perhaps the underlying tissue injury- soft tissue and bone- is making it longer to heal. I suggest that you take a painkiller for a few days for symptomatic improvement. Nothing else is required. May be an X-ray to see if there was a minor fracture or something.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Kakkar S., Dermatologist
