Any Suggestion For Child Having Bump And Bruise After Head Injury?

My 4 year old fell 5-6 weeks ago and hit her head on a chair. She had a quarter size bump and bruise. The bump has been gone, but the bruise is still there, though it's a lot lighter. Sometimes I don't notice it. Is that normal, or should she get checked out?

it is a common occurrence in children to have a hematoma on the head following injury .the swelling may last for a couple of days and bluish discolouration a bit longer . if the child is comfortable and active and playful then there is nothing to worry .
