Any Suggestion For Elevated Crp/esr When Having Osteoarthritis And Enlarged Thyroid?

Hi I have osteoarthritis but am concerned because my crp,esr are elevated and i am anemic and my thyroid is enlarged..rheumatologist says its a malignancy because all other tests came back negative,i am wondering if i should do the bone scan and neck ultrasound or am i just wasting more money

Hi welcome to HCM....

I don't comment more without your physical examination ....

But here I can say ESR , CRP also elevated in even inflammation also .....

So if thyroid gland Seems enlarged than isotope thyroid scan and biopsy for hustipathological examination will be useful ....

If malignancy there Histopatho will be useful for it ....

If your doc suspecting cancer elsewhere in body than CT scan like investigation might useful. ...
