Any Suggestion For Having High Heart Rate When Taking Any Medical Test?
Hello Doc! I am a 22 year old female , I am having a high heart rate when taking my medical tests . The doctor suggests to have an ECG today , when infact my concern was my body being underweight . Do I need to have an ECG ? I know exactly that my heart is in normal condition.
An ECG would look at the rate and rhythm of the heart. It can also identify if there are different aspects of the heart that are not receiving enough blood by the changes in the result.
If your doctor suggested the ECG to check for any abnormalities then you may want to consider having it done.
I hope this helps
