Any Suggestion For Infection Below Right Lung Showed In An X-ray?
Hi Doctor ,I went to an x ray for work purpose,but my report shows there is a infection just below my right lung, as of now the scan has not been confirm yet about the illness.My employer was inform about it and was told to rest for a weeks and have to retake the x ray again, can i have your advice.Thank you
Hello.If you have had an infection of the lower respiratory tract recently,the radiography may show that. If you have not had a recent infection, sometimes there are signs of infections in previous years. If the image of the radiography is not well distinguished, would be advisable to perform thoracic ct-scan because it is more sensitive test.I wish you good health.
