Any Suggestion For Irregular Periods After Stopping Yasmin Tablet?
SIR MY WIFE HAVE IREGULAR PERIOD AND DOCTER SUGGEST YASMIN TAB FOR THIS AND SHE IS TAKEN 7 MONTHS AND PERIOD ARE ALSO IN TIME BUT WHEN SHE STOP FOR TAKING YASMIN AGAIN PROBLEM WILL CONTINUE DOCTOR SAY INSFECTION AND BULKY UTERUS SO WHAT I DO PLEASE SUGGEST ME
Many women take pills such as Yasmin to regulate their period, and as in your wife's case they usually succeed, however they don't cure the underlying problem and when stopped, irregular bleeding recurs. A bulky uterus usually means benign muscle lumps, also called fibroids, and are very common. If your wife didn't have problems on the pills, doesn't smoke or have other contraindications she can continue to use them until age 55, carrying here through menopause. He doctor can easily rule out infection with lab tests and exam. An ultrasound can confirm fibroids.
