Any Suggestion For Pain In Lower Left Chest When Treating For Sinus?
My grandson has been on antibiotics for 3 weeks. He finished last Thursday. He was treated for severe sinus infection with antibiotics and 3 days of prednazone. I took him back just before finishing the two weeks of prescribed antibiotics because he didn't seem a lot better. He was prescribed a different antibiotic for a week and 5 more days of prednazone. He still complains of pain in lower left chest. Tonight he said just below the ribs on the left side. He said there's no rib there as he pressed just below the ribs. He is 12 years old. Suggestions?

I can appreciate your concern, stop giving antibiotic, this should be given without the presence of bacterial or susceptible organism, now just do nothing wait for few days the symptoms may go away on its own, simple Acetaminophen tab can be tried for pain, no need to worry about this, will come around soon, hope information helps you have good day.
