Any Suggestion For Puss Coming Out After Having BCG?
Hi My son had his bcg over a month ago and today while giving him a bath a lot of puss came out. I touched it to make sure it was out and it is now red. I put surgical spirit to make sure it was clean and he is in no pain and it is dry and starting to scab over. Is he in any danger? I'm so worried as I touched it and I'm scared. Please advise.
Hello, Thanks for choosing health care magic for posting your query. I have gone through your question in detail and I can understand what you are going through. There is noting to worry at this stage. Probably there was an abscess which burst open by your touching and mostly it will heal by self. Look for fever or pain and if it appears then you will have to rush to a doctor. Even now it would be wise to show the lesion to a doctor who can examine the lesion if any pus is still remaining. Hope I am able to answer your concerns. If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you. If not, you may close the discussion and if possible you may rate the answer for me, so that I get a good feedback.
