Are Benadryl And Cheratussin AC Syrup Safe To Be Taken Together??
I have been taking Cheratussin AC syrup for the last two nights for a cough that gets worse when I lay down and it has not helped at all with my cough and instead of making me sleepy it did the opposite. I just took another dose an hour ago and I am still coughing and not feeling tired. May I take a Benadryl or would that interact with the Cheratussin?

You can safely take Benedryl along with cheratussin. It will not interact with each other or affect the efficacy of one another. You might feel excessive sleepiness while combining birth the medicines.
