Are Calpol, Omez, Viscodyne And Sensiclav Safe During Pregnancy?

Hi my wife is 33 weeks pregnant and she has pretty severe cough and sour throat from last few days, we visited her gynacologist and she gave her Ascoryl syrup. But my wife is not feeling better. So we visited other physician near by and she gave sensiclav 625 mg, calpol 500 mg, omez 20 mg, and viscodyne natural syrup. We are not sure whether it s safe to take these medicines during pregnancy although local physician said those are safe. My wife s gynacologist is out of town and not reachalble so not sure what to do. Any thoughts from qualified doctor please? Your help is much appreciated.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if this is the cough symptoms and pregnancy is there then no need to take any medicines because it may not be infection but it seems to be some allergic condition or it may be just nonspecific symptoms and no need to worry about this, ideally medicine should always be avoided in pregnancy hope this information helps.
