Are Cipro And Metronidazole Right Medications For Irregular Heartbeat?
Was just prescribed Cipro and metronidazole. I m 73, not on any drugs but aspirin. Have an irregular heart beat and carrying an event monitor to catch AFib occurences. Material with the Rx mentions irregular/fast heart rate which I already have as a side effect. Not sure I want to start these drugs. Thank you.

I have gone through your query. Ciprofloxacin and metronidazole are antibiotics given for infection. Mostly the combination is given for intestinal infections. It has nothing to do with heart or irregular rhythm. Are you having any infections or gastrointestinal problems. ?.
