Are Cu-sil Dentures Recommended Despite Having Three Teeth In Front Gum Line?

In April I had three teeth on top to get infected and abscess, and also most of my other teeth on top were in bad condition. I chose to have them pulled (I only had nine teeth on top.t) But when I got down to the last three in front including my two front, I decided to keep them and have the Cu-seal denture. My dentist is the one who told me about it but says he doesn t do this procedure. Can this be done with only three teeth in front. and these teeth are fairly healthy, but one needs a crown.

As per your complain Cu-Sil dentures contain an elastomeric or in general terms an elastic kind of cushion which cushions over the neck of the teeth present to provide anchorage as well as prevent leakage of food and liquids.

They are an alternate for conventional partial dentures and over-dentures and are indicated in case of patients with fewer teeth and is a good option for those who wants a roof free upper denture.

So as you have fewer teeth it can be done in your case and is some what unacceptable to those who have a gummy smile as then the cushion that surrounds the neck of teeth will be visible.

As the Cu-Sil is being done by a limited dental practitioners you can visit their laboratory and get the details of the dentist who are doing it and can get it fabricated for you.
