Are DBS Capsule And Pilorute Cream Advisable For Anal Fissure?

I had been suffering from non bleeding painful anal fissure 3 years ago . As treatment from local doctor I take vennex capsule for one month. As a result it helps me get rid of pain for two years. Nowadays at the time of stooling I found blood with stool. I go to local doctor. He gave me DBS capsules 3 a day and pilorute cream . Have I been in correct treatment and the bleeding has been for fissure? My email address is YYYY@YYYY .

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
The medications what you have mentioned can be used for anal fissures. However, it is also essential to avoid constipation by taking fibre rich diet and consuming stool softners along with it as it would aggravate the condition.
In initial stages, the medications and conservative measures would be helpful.
In case your problem persists, you need to consult Surgeon, get examined clinically and undergo 'fissurotomy', which would get rid of the problem permanently.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
