Hi,
Glucosamine is supposed to help in
cartilage as well as
synovial fluid formation thus helping in articular cartilage regeneration as well as minimizing the loss of joint cartilage during movements of joints. Due to formation of synovial fluid it results in lubrication of joints and hence, less pain during movement of joints. Hence, overall it may help in osteo-arthritis. Boswellia as well as glucosamine are known to be anti-inflammatory.
Hence, both these products may help in reducing the intensity of chronic inflammatory diseases including
rheumatoid arthritis etc. By this anti-inflammatory action, these help in reducing pain of joints. Ipriflavone is a food supplement thought to be helping in formation of bones and cartilages and hence helpful in relieving the pain of bones and joints.
To summarize, the combination of above medicines seem to be useful for specific as well as non-specific joint pain with minimal side effects. Most of the side effects are minor and usually go by themselves. These are
nausea,
bloating as well as rare incidence of
diarrhea. A very infrequent side effect of decreasing INR is rarely seen with boswellia, causing increased risk of blood clotting.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
