Are Gravol And Advil Effective In Treating Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo?

good evening, i believe i am experiencing benign paroxymal positional vertigo, (i went mountain climbing a few days after recovering from a bout of influenza). i live in a very remote area, and the only medication i have on hand is gravol and advil: will these medications be at all effective, or harming to my condition? thank you in advance. sincerely, Dizzy

Hello,

* The Gravol does respond in some cases of vertigo , but advil will flare vertigo by its antihistamine properties at CNS levels, so best to be avoided.

* There are best Appley`s menuvers exercises for paroxysmal positional vertigo, which can be sorted out with your family doc if possible.

* If nearby chemist is having betahistidine, it is best molecule for such vertigo handling.
