Welcome to HCM
I have read and understood your query
Hope it may help
i would like to see if your doctor ran some tests like Complete blood picture and ultrasound abdomen.
They did not advise you surgery because your infection might be very mild (not very high TLC/WBC count) and the appendix might not seem very inflammed on abdominal ultrasound.
Thats why they manged the infection with an antibiotic (GUDCEF) and an anti inflammatory painkiller (CIPZEN).Complete the course of antibiotic but if you feel pain again, ask your doctor to run the tests if they were not previously done and discuss the option of surgical management if necessary.
I will be happy to know if it was helpful. You can approach us anytime with another query
