Are HCG Injections During Early Pregnancy Safe?

Is it safe to have hcg injections in early pregnancy? And if prescribed, till when it has to be continued. I was given hcg injections in 4th & 5th week every third day till the heartbeat comes, doc stopped the injections right there after getting the heartbeat. I was entering into 11th week when I found that my baby grew till 6weeks 6days only. Is there any chance it happened due to the sudden stop of injections?

hi...hcg is necessory for on going contuning of pregnancy. in some cases doubling of hcg not occur..thats why injection of hcg are given..
as you said after stoping the injections growth of baby not occur properly..
my advise to plzz go to gynaecologist and get done USG sooner..
follow their advise
