Are Hydrocodone And Acetaminophen Advisable For Abdominal Pain?

My daughter is 14 and experiencing stomach pains. Last time this occurred we went to the ER and after many tests, no cause was found. We were given hydrocdone/acetaminophen. Earlier this afternoon I gave her two Aleve, thinking this was menstrual cramping. Can I give her the hydrocodone/acetaminophen now?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks using healthcare magic

There is no interaction between the hydrocodone/acetaminophen and aleve so they can be used safely together.

If the pain dose not resolve then she may need to be assessed by her doctor or the ER.

I hope this helps
