Are Kidpred And Nebulisation Advisable For A Child Suffering From Cold And Cough?
Hello doctor. My daughter is now 4 years old. She was fine till 1 year. She started suffering from cold and cough from 1 year. Since last 3 years we have been to doctor for 13 times for this issue. Sometimes Dr suggested kidpred, septilin etc. I am worried about her. Can u please suggest the proper treatment for her. Also is kidpred safe or nebulisation.

Thanks for history. Noted that your daughter is having cold and cough since 1 year. And to inform that repetative cold and cough could lead to Childhood asthma. So the examining doctor have also predicted the same and Kidpred is most appropriate treatment for acute conditions of asthma as it reduces the inflammatory processes which cause asthma.
No need to worry as nebulisation directly delivers the medication to the lung at the affected site without affecting other parts of body.
