Are Lactihep Syrup And Daflon Tablets Safe To Take During Pregnancy For Hemorrhoids?
Hello, Madam I am 9 weeks pregnant. yesterday doctor told me to take LACTIHEP syrup 30ml in night for 3 weeks. Daflon 1g 3 tablets for 3 days,2 tablets for 2 days & 1 tablet for 2 weeks for haemorrhoids problem. So please suggest me whether can i start these treatment from today or not.
Lactihep is more or less a safe drug during pregnancy, if used for a limited period and under guidance of your doctor. Daflon is also a safe drug, if used during pregnancy. Though the data of its safety, when being used in pregnancy are limited.
Therefore, it is advisable to be used under prescription and guidance of your doctor. However, no adverse effect has been documented till date, when it is used during pregnancy. Similarly no teratogenic effect of the drug has been documented so far.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
