Are Melanocyl Tablets And Tacroz Ointment Right Treatment For Vitiligo?
white patch developing from the mouth genital and 3 dots and 2 small light pink patches are developing in the testacles. doctors are diagnosed as vitiligo. It started from july 2014. what shall i do. now I am taking melanocy tablet along with tacros ointment
There seems to be a hereditary component to vitiligo – but only 10% have a family history. Children of parents with vitiligo do have a somewhat increased chance of developing it.
Diagnosis of vitiligo is mostly clinical and can be confirmed by Woods light.
Vitiligo is an unpredictable disease and no one can guarantee whether it will stay as it is or spread to other body area. However vitiligo if stable usually stays so this way.
Natural remedies utilize psoralens which can sometimes give unpredictable results. Therefore it is advisable to consult a dermatologist for proper treatment.
If you are improved with this light band UVb then it is good but still I would advice to see doctor at least once.
However, you can continue to take melanocyl tablet and tacroz ointment.
