Are Nutrilite’s Iron Folic Plus And Cal Mag D Recommended During Twin Pregnancy?
Hi doctor. I am in my 3rd month of twin pregnancy. I had a scan and both babies are fine. I am afraid about 5th month anomaly scan. I want to increase the iron, follic acid and calcium supplement. I am already taking 1-2 scoops of all plant Nutrilite protein from beginning of pregnancy. I am planning to take NUTRILIT Iron Folic Plus and Nutrilite Cal Mag D of one tab each every day. I am obese with 70 Kg and 157 cm height. Is the above preferable during my pregnancy.
Taking count that the scan of 3rd month was OK the 5 months scan will be OK too.
After the 3rd month is no more necessary to continue with folic acid. Continue to take prenatal multivitamins with iron and vitamin D. The vitamin and iron intake can't affect genetic abnormalities.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Olgeta Xhufka , General & Family Physician
