Thanks for contacting HCM with your health concern.
1. optidex-T eye drops contains tobramycin &
dexamethasone used to treat bacterial infection of the eyes and since dose depends upon patient's allergic history, pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions and shouldn't be stopped suddenly to prevent rebound effects but tapering of the medicine is necessary
PS. prolonged topical use of
corticosteroids may bring about glaucoma, affecting the
optic nerve, causing alterations in the vision thus talk with your attending doctor or consult an Ophthalmologist if the condition persists or worsens later on.
2. Tymer eye drops contain
gatifloxacin indicated for bacterial conjuctivitis and apart from
hypersensitivity no other contraindication is there [if using topically]
PS. In both the eye drops one thing to remember is that if using lenses they should be removed before instilling them in eye and to be used 15 minutes after instillation of the medicine
