Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, I am wondering about pain meds that I was just switched to. I have been taking MS Cotin 30mg 2 a day and 3 Norco s 10/325 for break through pain. my doc just switched the norco s to percocet 7.5/325 3 a day. Are the percocet stronger and are they hard on the stomach? Thanks!
Hello and thank you for your question. Yes, the narcotic in percocet, oxycodone, is stronger than the narcotic in norco, hydrocodone. All narcotics can cause nausea by stimulating the nausea center in the brain, but they are not hard on the stomach directly Regards
